Wolff Bowden

Bowden was born in Winter Park, grew up in a tree-house in an alligator-infested swamp in Chuluota, and was appointed official ARTIST OF THE MILLENNIUM by ARTEXPO MIAMI. After earning a degree in Natural Science from New College of Florida, Wolff drew on his knowledge of organic chemistry to create highly-textured, vitreous surfaces reminiscent of the swampscape of his childhood. Wolff's art hangs in the collections of baseball star Andre Dawson, author Frank McCourt and Poet Laureate Billy Collins. In addition to showing and selling his visual art for over a decade, Wolff has published two books of poetry Orphanage of Imagination and Heavyweight Champion of the Night. Wolff and his partner, Amanda, perform as the Alt-Folk musical duo, The Winterlings. Their new album, The Animal Groom reached #6 on the Roots Music Folk Chart.
