Vicki Tindall

During 1981, while taking somewhat of a sabbatical before her third book was to be published on needlecrafts, Vicki sought a diversion involving something she had apparently suppressed all her life...Clay! She became aware that from her Cherokee ancestry, the new path (direction) was inevitable and instinctive, enabling her to draw from those who came before. Through the evolutionary process of self-education in several areas of pottery, destined reality became apparent. After years of research, study, and experiments, she has developed her own unique and spiritually influenced style of primitive firing. Over the years, she has won numerous awards, attended invitationals, and had a one-women-show in California. Her works are in galleries and private collections all over the country.
