My desire as an artist is to capture beauty in a unique and lasting way. Life is often mundane, but art is uplifting. Forget about the laundry, the bills, the news - gaze upon a piece of art and feel your heart lift. Art is a high without the chemical influence. Art is love without the complications. To own a piece of art that speaks to you is to own a portal into another world. To create public art is to create a portal for anyone willing to participate. I know it is presumptuous, but I aspire to make art that inspires and creates happiness. To this end, I create sculpture using a variety of materials, ranging in size from intimate to monumental.
