Robinson Scott

My current body of work displays 30 years of evolution and exploration. In that time, I have worked to produce high quality, individually designed, well balanced and collectable hand-blown glass art work. I am always in pursuit of new ways to challenge my abilities and push my existing knowledge. The diversity of glass, the glass blowing process, and the possibilities it offers, is what makes working with glass so interesting and exciting. My work accentuates the layering of colors with clear glass, creating depth, reflectivity and soft vinegetteing as one color overlaps the other. Each piece is made without the use of molds or forms and gets its shape entirely from hand shaping with wet newspaper and my hand.
