Michael Stipek

The combination of fine art training, traditional medium-format color negative film photography, and computer imaging skills has enabled me to create and produce images that evoke classically naturalistic paintings. In my work, I try to capture a uniquely individual sense of warmth and beauty, whether the subject matter is architectural, floral or scenic. In my creative process I strive for a balance between simplicity of composition, strength of natural color, and the use of dramatic lighting techniques.
