Lynn Whipple

I was born and raised in Winter Park, Florida and share a warehouse studio with my husband John, who is also an artist. My work continues to evolve and move between two and three dimensional pieces. Recently I have been working on a group of mixed media assemblages and collage paintings. The joy of taking found objects, and found images and creating something new and fresh is very appealing to me. I allow myself to play and let my pieces reveal themselves to me. I like to leave all possibilities open to start, unattached to the outcome, everything totally permitted, enabling me to fully enjoy the process.
