Keith Grace

The inspiration for my mixed media paintings come from my past careers as an illustrator, visual designer and newspaper graphics editor. My love of typography and maps merges with clean, graphic imagery. While at first my paintings appear simple in design, upon closer examination the viewer sees the complexity of the process. The maps and type I use are a combination of current and vintage materials along with hand made visual elements. The hand-torn fragments are collaged onto canvas and layers of acrylics and oils complete each painting. My work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, books, posters, websites, stage sets, and in television shows. I have exhibited in numerous galleries, museums and universities in solo and group shows for over 35 years. My paintings are included in many corporate and private collections world wide.
