Iris Ledesma

Having an architecture background, I am immediately drawn to different sources of inspiration and art. I hold a Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida and Master of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. I am someone who enjoys working in different scales: from an object that occupies the body, to an object the body occupies. I consider my jewelry as details or little pieces of architecture: wearable art. All are inspired from various sources, usually architecture, details, nature or movement. The pieces are meant to be experienced when worn and to be interesting objects while laying on horizontal surfaces. My work is about process and its evolution ... and in many ways, the evolution of myself.
