For some, hands are just there. They do everything for us but we take them for granted. They work hard for us everyday. If we have an itch they scratch it. We use our hands to complete every menial task every day of our lives. And as we get older they show the hard work they've accomplished, they show what we have done in our life. I like to inspire contemplation of older folks. I want my photographs to tell their story. Their stories are my inspiration. The picture you imagine in your mind of who this person is and was, to themselves and their families, is up to you. Our hands display the traits of who we've become. They tell "our" story, your story. Your hands, your Hands of Time.
