Through the unique process of conventional photography, images are created using complex darkroom techniques on gelatin silver photographic paper adhering to the highest archival standards. Layers of transparent oil pigment are applied to the photograph creating a rich textural finish. The mystical and ethereal images abound with symbolism and poetry. The artist is the sole craftsperson; from capturing the original images on film, the darkroom manipulations using several enlargers, and the application of photographic transparent oil paints to the surface of the finished photograph.
