Ellen: It’s late Friday night and I’m quessing you’re still at the Big Game. I imagine you’ll be tired tomorrow. It’d be nice if we could just lay out in the sun for two hours without saying a word … I quess we’ll find something else to do. Dad
Can you go to GarFishing.com? Can you catch gar fish with an iPod touch? Does it fish? Web surf fishing? Can you take a picture of yourself freaking out with happiness over your new toy … and then send it to me? Can it do all that? Can you take another picture free of thought, free of care, in a state of serene bliss … and then send it to me?
Ya I can go online with it n zoom in on houses n everything it’s so fun

Earthling: Another great visit. Homework was a great idea. I felt right at home.
The speakers at Leu Gardens spoke on native wildflowers. It was good. This is a good month to start sowing the seeds I bought. We have to hit the area with Round-Up. Wait two weeks. Hit it again with Round-Up. Wait a week. Mow it. Rake it. Cast the seed. Walk over the area. Water it. Water it the next week. Water it the next week. Then we should see something. Hmmm.
Going to now to Home Depot to buy some rope.
