Jen: I’m sure you’ve heard stories of ‘bad’ teachers. So, I am concerned, particularly under the circumstances, that he speak to me, and you, if he’s asked to do so. David
David: The call was legitimate…in that it was an someone with the WPHS Band. Ellen, however was at band camp. I had called and spoke to the band director, Mr. Moody, the week prior to confirm that Ellen was on the roster. And, she was. We went to band orientation last Thursday…Ellen was at Band Camp Monday and was “found.” Her schedule is 1-9 pm through next Friday. I’ll let her fill you in on the rest. Regarding the message…when the person who called realized Ellen was in class, he did let her know that he left messages and to disregard them…still, I will tell Ellen to ask him to return your call.
Jen
PS: A man claiming to be with the WP Band called 6584520 at 6:30 yesterday and left a message for Ellen. He was an adult. And he said that Ellen had not been to band practice that day. This morning I called the number he left and got his ‘family’ cell phone. I left a message asking him to call me. He did not.
Whenever an adult calls for Ellen, I think it prudent to speak to them directly and to satisfy myself that they have a legitamate reason for calling a teenager.
If either of you speak to this man, I would appreciate you telling him that I would like a return call.

Hello, team! What do you think of Charlie Brown? What a ‘victim’. Poor guy.
Anyway, I want to send you both a joke from my ‘calendar’. So, Charlie Brown was in the paper today bemoaning his abandonment. And even though you may not see me as abandonned, I thought you would understand the ‘team’ idea, and maybe even Charlie’s ‘optimism’ – his hope that today is preparation for tomorrow.
Well, it is quite late. I’ve spent quite a few hours thinking of my ‘team’ and how much I enjoyed be involved.
But, right now, I am going to get involved with my pillow and go to sleep.

That’s good to know. Thanks for the update. Jen
