Bedtime for Gravatar
Posted on Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 10:42 pmWhiteWave & Neko: Today’s over. And it was a good day. Uneventful. But good for that reason, if no other. I’m in an emotional stalemate. There’s a chick dieing. That’s grief. There was a guy in class that really has what I want. That’s admiration. I made a white-boy blunder in class by referring to an Elvis Presley song. That’s terror. I’m waiting to hear from you, Ellen. That’s vigilance. And it’s late. That’s just plain tired.
Today I had hope that I could add new interest in the blog by figuring out how to give each of us a gravatar. That’s a little picture that would appear by our name in each comment box. I signed up at gravatar.com. But I haven’t heard back. So, nothing to tell you yet.
Sleep tight,
David
David: The gravatar sounds cool…almost sounds like it should be an animated version of each of us…now that would be cool!
I haven’t felt too good this week…my right hip is giving me trouble…just hurts…thinking it’s Arthritis or (Sue thought) Bursitis…I’ll find out more…I think stretching is good for it though. Ellen and I went to the Wellness Center last night and they have this contraption I never went on…it is intimidating…almost looks like you should get beamed somewhere when you step in it…all it is is a stretching apparatus…you put your feet in certain positions and then hold on to the cage-like bars in certain positions and stretch…I think you would like it…and, my hip does seem to feel better today…I do, too.
So, what made your Elvis Presley comment a “white boy blunder?” And, what is it that the guy in class has that you want? Did the “parking lot guy” show up?
Off to the meeting.
