David:
A document was slipped under our door late Monday afternoon. It was from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and says:
6/29/09
David W. Foley Jr
Ref: J.T. Foley
You need to go to the Orange County Courthouse; 425 N. Orange Ave, Suite 240 A.S.A.P. and pick up important court documents from 8:00 am – 4:45 pm. Failure to comply could result in “Avoiding Service”.
Or current resident; please call me A.S.A.P. if the above listed named individual no longer resides at this address.
Thank you in advance,
Signed by

Writ #624132
I called the number twice on 6/29/09 around 4:30 pm…it was busy. Called on 6/30/09 around 8:39 am. Left a vm for Deputy Gonzalez telling him that you were not at the residence and that I was going to drop off the paper work at your lawyer’s office.
I ended up faxing the document to Michael Morris yesterday 6/30/09 around noon time. If Mike hasn’t contacted you yet, you may want to go by and find out what it’s all about. I haven’t a clue, you?
I did get a message back from Deputy Gonzalez asking for the address of where you are living. I did not call him back. I figured if you can take care of it, there was no need for me to contact him again.

Hi David: Our trip plans: Well, I’ll start with our itineray:
Flight (Continental #393) leave at 8 am tomorrow and we arrive in Newark at 10:35 am. Michael is working so Oscar will be picking us up. Their good friend, and upstairs neightbor, Nicole, is out of town through Tuesday and has generously opened her apartment to us…so Ellen and I will be “squatting” in style! Nicole is a producer for 60 minutes…travels the world for stories such as: What happens to old US computers when they get to China? It will be nice to have the extra space.
After we land our luggage, I imagine we will explore Hoboken with Oscar and we may meet Michael in the city for dinner tomorrow night (leaving dinner plans to them).
Friday and Saturday’s itinerary’s will include Ellen’s much anticipated visit to the Strand bookstore, walking around the lower east side, galleries and funky shops, a trip to the Hungarian CafĂ©, a walk through Central Park. Michael told me that he and Oscar have one rule…I don’t know if it’s a rule exactly…but a thing: If one person wants a “dirty water dog” everyone gets a “dirty water dog” when I told this to Ellen, she didn’t know what I was talking about…she sheepishly and hopefully said, “ice cream?” I don’t think she heard me correctly! She’ll be a little surprised. CafĂ©s and a few good restaurants. Times Square. Michael mentioned that he wanted to take us to the Yaffa CafĂ©…he and I went there 9 years ago when I went to visit him…good brunch and nice outdoor garden-like eating area. Michael looked into show tickets, but even the off-broadway shows cost around $100 so we won’t be going to a Broadway show…NYC will just have to do all on it’s own…gorilla theatre and all! I’m excited to take Ellen to the Hungarian cafĂ©…I will think of you there and miss you and will go there with a heart full of emotion…I plan to buy the three of us t-shirts if they sell them. Foley Square and Broome St. can definately go on our list…it will be fun to show Ellen and to take a picture of her under the street sign from across the street…thanks for the idea and the memory.
Fireworks: This should be great. Michael said that this year the fireworks are on “his side of the river.” They live down the street from the riverfront so it should be quite a show…you can watch it on TV! Hoboken is quite pretty from what I’ve seen on the internet…the riverfront has a long walkway all along it…Sue told me that she and her friend Kendra walked it for 2 hours once.
Sunday we’ll be spending at Oscar and Michael’s in Hoboken…we’d like to get in some painting and drawing time so I imagine a lazy, lounging, relaxing Sunday doing just that.
Return flight (Continental #1792) leaves at 6:10 pm and we arrive in Orlando at 9:24 pm.
Well, it’s a little after 7 am…time to start my morning. I’ll post tonight regarding the Household.
