Notification
Posted on Monday, June 15th, 2009 at 5:00 pmJennifer & Neko: The Comments Notifier feature of the blog will send an email to you whenever a new comment is added to the blog. This is pretty handy; enabling the feature would allow us to connect all comments on a topic in a single thread under one post, without fear that the comment will get lost as the blog grows in length. For example, today I would like to make a comment to a post made six days ago, post #30, Ellen’s Ear, but I am afraid that if I do so neither of you will see it because the blog is now at post #49. So, I would like you to enable the feature for yourself.
The Comments Notifier feature is a Setting. The Settings button is at the bottom of the left column on the WordsWorth dashboard. When you click the Settings button a list of Settings appears. At the bottom of that list is the Comment Notifier.
Please take a look at it. David
Dearest Blog Buddies: Due to technical difficulties inside my brain the above post was made during a brief memory blackout and as a result failed to consider that you both are ADMINISTRATORs, and all administrators recieve notification of comments at the email address you’ve identified on you User page. So, though it may be prudent to do so regardless, unless you want duplicate notification, or notification at an alternate email address, you need not add your email to the list on the following Settings page – http://www.pocketprogram.org/wordsworth/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=comment_notifier. Yours, for your very own, Mr. Often-Wrong.
Enabled comment notifier feature by adding my email. This will be handy.
